Future Dynamic secures funding

Catalyst Fund Management & Research has provided an undisclosed amount of following on funding for Future Dynamics, a supplier of electronic straight through processing products for the derivatives industry. ABN AMRO Capital is an existing investor in Future Dynamics.

Catalyst Fund Management & Research’s investment in Future Dynamics will be used to pursue geographic expansion in mainland Europe and Asia Pacific as well as expanding the company’s New York office. It will also fund five new products that will be introduced over the next 12 months and be used in the further development of existing products. In addition the funds will be used to increase software development and support services and expand the consulting and services division.

Future Dynamics is looking to recruit 50 additional people within the next six months, predominantly in the areas of development, sales and marketing and support.

The latest funding round required legal advice from Ashurst Morris Crisp and market technological due diligence from Charteris Ltd. Existing shareholders were advised by CMS Cameron McKenna and Clyde & Co.

Alice Chapman of Catalyst joins the board of Future Dynamics as a non-executive director. ABN AMRO Capital’s Simon Havers already sits on the board as a non-executive director.
