Eide has been CEO at Marine Harvest, a Norwegian seafood company, for four years, during which time he led the turnaround and development of the company from a financially-distressed mid-size company to the world’s largest seafood company. His previous experience includes the CEO position of a number of listed and unlisted companies.
He has been non-executive chairman of the board of the fund HitecVision Private
Equity III since its inception in 2002, and has also held a number of non-executive
board positions in companies such as Fokus Bank, Acta, Cermaq and SalMar.
