Landsbanki makes it six of the best

Landsbanki Commercial Finance (LCF), the asset based lender and structured finance provider, has made six new hires.

First up, Paul Bowerman has been appointed as cash management officer. Prior to joining Landsbanki Commercial Finance, Bowerman spent ten years working for Mellon bank in their finance sector

Another new face is Zhivka Georgieva, who joins as an auditor. Before joining, Georgieva spent six years as a senior account manager with Resource Partners Group, financing government debt, mainly for independent healthcare sector providers.

Lee Joyce joins as manager of equipment finance in the London office. Prior to joining he worked with the Royal Bank of Scotland Group and latterly at IBJ Leasing (UK) Limited.

Rebecca MacKenzie has been appointed as team analyst. Before joining Landsbanki, she worked in the corporate and institutional banking sector in New Zealand and has five years experience working as a credit analyst for Westpac Institutional Bank.

George Mandt has been appointed as a director in North America. He brings over 22 years experience to the company having worked in the commercial banking finance sector including ten years at the Bank of Boston and the

last six years with GMAC Commercial Finance.

Brent Osborne, managing director, celebrates the expansion: “In the past eighteen months, since launching in the UK, we have seen an enormous growth in the use of asset based lending (ABL), particularly as a financing tool by the advisory community, including accounting firms and investment banks and the more traditional funding including private equity. However, we are not standing still; there are still great opportunities to be grasped. The latest appointments will strengthen our existing team increasing our knowledge and proficiency.”
