Pantheon strengthens US outfit

London headquartered fund-of-funds Pantheon Ventures has added Dennis McCrary to its US team as a partner. McCrary will be based in Chicago, where he will focus on the firm’s US investment activity, and develop and oversee a US co-investment strategy for its clients.

He will work closely with the San Francisco-based primary investment team led by Susan Long McAndrews, and will immediately join the US Regional Investment Committee, the Co-Investment Committee, and the International Investment Committee.

He was previously a partner at Adams Street Partners in Chicago, where he was head of the US Partnership Team and was responsible for primary and secondary fund investing and a member of the firm’s global investment committee. Previously, he held a variety of investment banking and principal investing roles during a 20-year career with Bank of America, and its predecessor, Continental Bank.
