? Robert Fore has been named a partner in law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati‘s fund services group, which provides legal services and counsel to venture capital and other private equity funds. Fore was most recently counsel to Bank of America‘s worldwide private equity business.
? Jerry Maus has joined Advanced Technology Ventures as a partner and chief administrative officer. He was previously executive vice president of finance and administration with State Street Research and Management Co.
? Jeff Martin has joined Rothschild as a managing director in its corporate finance group. He was previously with Thomas Weisel Partners, where he was responsible for that firm’s East Coast M&A activities.
? Kevin Morrison is slated to join First Union Securities‘ financial sponsors group. He was most recently a managing director in the financial sponsors group of Bank of America Securities.
? David Skok has joined Matrix Partners as a general partner. He is a serial entrepreneur who most recently founded Silverstream Software Inc.
? William Van Sant has been named an operating partner with Norwest Equity Partners. Previously, Van Sant was chairman and CEO of Nortrax Inc.
? Jonathn Wang has joined Delta Venture Partners as a partner in the San Francisco-based firm’s biosciences group. He will also serve as a general partner on a $50 million to $100 million fund being raised by DVP, with a focus on Chinese information technology and bioscience opportunities. Wang was most recently an investment manager with The Walden Group.
