Oklahoma City-based buyout firm Acorn Growth Companies has hired Erika Lucas as vice president of marketing and communications. Previously, Lucas worked at the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, where she served as deputy director.

Jef Rogers, a principal at Gryphon Investors, left the firm, peHUB reported. It was not clear if the firm will replace him.

Investment firm ICE Canyon has hired Jaime G. Garza as managing director and portfolio manager. Previously, Garza worked at Black River Asset Management´s emerging markets group, where he served as managing director and portfolio manager. ICE Canyon specializes in emerging markets and global credit strategies.

Michael M. Calbert, head of retail investing at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co, has left the firm. Nathaniel H. Taylor, a partner at the firm, will take over from Calbert, who joined KKR in 2000.

New York-based buyout firm Oak Hill Capital Partners has named Michael V. Schrock as a senior adviser and operating consultant. Previously, Schrock was the president and chief operating officer of Pentair, a maker of products for water, fluid, thermal management and equipment protection.

PT Development, a private equity firm in Louisville, Kentucky, has named Mark Wheeler as its new chief financial officer. Previously, Wheeler worked at U.S. Bank, where he served as executive vice president and regional chairman.

Seabury International Capital Holdings has named Christopher E. Kubasik to its board of directors. Kubasik is the former vice chairman, president and COO of Lockheed Martin. Seabury International Capital Holdings is a subsidiary of Seabury Capital, the investment arm for investment bank Seabury Group.

Silver Lake Sumeru partner Ajay Shah has joined the board of the National Audubon Society, along with U.S. Rep. James Greenwood and landscape ecologist Michele Crist. Shah joined Silver Lake in 2007 and is the co-founder and managing partner of Silver Lake Sumeru, the firm’s mid-market investment group. The Audubon Society also elected David Ford to succeed B. Holt Thrasher as chairman.

Tiedemann Wealth Management has hired David Coulter, vice chairman at Warburg Pincus, as a member of its investment committee. Coulter will advise the firm on investment strategies, allocation and manager selection. Coulter joined Warburg in 2005 and works as vice chairman, managing director and a member of the firm’s executive management group. From 2000 to 2005, he held a series of positions at JPMorgan Chase. Earlier in his career, Coulter was president, chief executive officer and chairman of BankAmerica Corp.

TVM Capital MENA is to be re-named as TVM Capital Healthcare Partners. The name change will reflect the company’s focus on healthcare and the expansion of its investment geography beyond the Middle East and North Africa region.

Wynnchurch Capital has hired Jude Thompson, former president and co-CEO of Papa John’s International, to its newly formed executive advisory board. Thompson has held leadership roles at WellPoint and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, most recently as divisional president. Wynnchurch established its executive advisory board last year.
