Northwest-based investment firm D.A. Davidson & Co has named Monte Giese and Rory McKinney as co-heads of investment banking. The appointment becomes effective April 1. Giese and McKinney will replace Brad Gevurtz, who will continue to serve as managing director.

Harris Williams & Co has promoted six senior professionals from the firm’s Richmond, Boston and Cleveland offices. Joe Conner, Ryan Nelson and Chris Rogers have been promoted to managing director; Tyler Dewing has been promoted to director; and Priyanka Naithani and Larissa Rozycki have been promoted to vice president.

Icahn Enterprises LP, activist investor Carl Icahn’s publicly traded investment vehicle, said that Keith Cozza will take over as president and chief executive officer, replacing Daniel Ninivaggi, Reuters reported. Cozza, currently a director of Icahn Enterprises, has been with the firm for 10 years.

Kidd & Co-backed Imaginetics has promoted Scott Strong to chief executive officer and Pat Prince to chief operating officer. Imaginetics is a manufacturer of precision metal components and assemblies for the aerospace industry.

Loeb Holding Corp and its affiliated entities have announced a new leadership structure and a renewed focus on the company’s merchant banking roots. With immediate effect, James L. Kempner, son of current Chairman Thomas L. Kempner, will become president of the firm, with day to day responsibility for company operations and strategy. Thomas Kempner will remain chairman and CEO.

Europe-focused buyout firm Mid Europa has promoted several staffers. Andrej Babache is now director and Lukasz Gawlik is associate director while Murat Buyumez, Artur Sie?czewski and Tas Tobias have been named senior associates. And Zofia Szewczuk has been promoted to investor relations manager.

Ridgemont Equity Partners has promoted Jack Purcell to partner and Kurt Leedy to principal. Purcell has been with the firm more than a decade ago and focuses on the basic industries sector. Leedy will be relocating to Ridgemont’s Dallas office in the near future. Charlotte-based Ridgemont Equity spun out of Bank of America Corp in 2010.

Financial adviser Western Reserve Partners has promoted Kevin Mayer, Kevin White and Daniel Callanan to managing directors, Andrew Male to director and Gregory Hill to associate. Callanan was made managing director with Western Reserve Valuation Services.
