Segulah oversees pre-fab merge

Segulah portfolio company Nordform is to merge with rival S:t Eriks to create Sweden’s largest independent supplier of pre-fabricated concrete products for infrastructure.

The Stockholm-headquartered private equity firm invested in Nordform in June 2005 through Segulah III, which is the majority shareholder in the new company.

The new company will operate under the name S:t Eriks, and the head office will be located to Nordform’s current head office in Staffanstorp.

The two businesses had a joint 2008 turnover of €85m, with a total of 400 employees.

Nordform’s subsidiary Skandinavisk Kommunalteknik AB will not be included in the deal and will become a portfolio company of Segulah.
