Cedar Fair LP (NYSE: FUN) management has been sued by a shareholder over the amusement park operator’s recent agreement to be acquired by Apollo Management for $2.4 billion.

Extended Stay America Inc. has received 60 extra days to file a reorganization plan with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Blackstone Group sold the discount hotel chain in 2008 to Lightstone Group for $8 billion.

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer is considering a prepackaged bankruptcy, according to Reuters. The company also is considering a sale, having received several first-round bids. The debt-laden studio is currently owned by Providence Equity Partners, TPG, Sony Corp. and Comcast.

Nine partnerships set up by JC Flowers & Co. to acquire a 26 percent stake in HSH Nordbank in 2006 have filed for bankruptcy. The partnerships hold the HSH Nordbank stock on behalf of investment trusts, whose beneficiaries are limited partners in J.C. Flowers Fund II.

Uno Restaurant Holdings has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and said it has agreed to a debt-for-equity swap with bondholders. Centre Partners had acquired a majority stake in the company in 2005.
