Everything But Water, a retailer bought in 2006 by Bear Growth Capital Partners, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Fleetwood Enterprises Inc., a Riverside, Calif.-based maker of motor homes and military barracks, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The company’s international operations are not included in the filing. Major shareholders include Tennenbaum Capital Partners and Marathon Asset Management.

Joe’s Sports, a Wilsonville, Ore.-based sporting goods and outdoor equipment retailer, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The company said it would not sell any of its 30 stores during the restructuring. Gryphon Investors bought Joe’s Sports in early 2007 from shareholders that included Nogales Investors.

Milacron Inc., a Batavia, Ohio-based plastics processing and industrial fluidics company, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Avenue Capital Group and DDJ Capital Management will provide an $80 million DIP term loan facility, and acquire the company’s assets. Bayside Capital had acquired a 29 percent stake in Milacron in 2007.

Regal Jets LLC, a Dallas-based subsidiary of JetDirect Aviation, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. It listed assets in the range of $10 million to $50 million, and liabilities in the range of $100 million to $500 million. JetDirect shareholders include CD Ventures, Argosy Capital, ABS Capital Partners, Brantley Partners, HSBC and AIG. The company recently agreed to sell many of its assets to a consortium led by Brantley Partners.

Reader’s Digest Association has hired law firm Kirkland & Ellis to advise on various restructuring options, including a possible bankruptcy. The company was acquired for $2.7 billion in 2007 by Ripplewood Holdings.

Robbins Bros., an engagement ring retailer, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and proposed a plan to sell the company. Robbins Bros. sold a minority stake in 2005 to Weston Presidio and affiliate Dorset Capital. It has selected Weston Presidio and Spence Diamonds are lead bidders.
