Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity (AMJPE) has appointed Peter Gibson and Nat Solomon to the industrial advisory board of its latest limited partnership fund, AMJPEF. Peter Gibson, founder of Corin Medical and currently chairman of Chiltern Invadex (an AMJPE investment), will focus on healthcare opportunities while Solomon, former chairman of Gala Group and RAL Holdings (a former AMJPE investment), will help assess leisure related deals.
The board now has nine members, all of whom have extensive sector experience. Other members are: David Brock (retail), Mike Hassall (specialist manufacturing), Moir Lockhead OBE (transport), Peter MacLean (IT and support services), Jim Ratcliffe (chemicals), Doug Smith (financial services) and Mark Swanwick (food and drink.)
