Polish private equity firm Innova Capital has raised over 324 million euros for its seventh fund. The fund’s target is 350 million euros.

The fund’s investors include commercial and international financial institutions, as well as Polish investors.

The fund is targeting sectors that include business/financial services and the consumer lifestyle products and services market.

“Over the past few months, we have been very much focused on continuing to fundraise and showing the investors the huge potential of Innova’s investment strategy,” said Krzysztof Kulig, a senior partner responsible for fundraising in a statement. “We are clearly in for an intense but interesting time ahead as we look to close the seventh fund and continue working on the deployment of the capital entrusted to us.”

In May of this year, the Innova/7 fund completed its first deal – NETOPIA Group, a Romanian payment services provider.

Innova Capital invests in Central and Eastern European mid-sized businesses. Since its inception in 1994, Innova Capital has invested close to 1.2 billion euros in almost 70 companies across 10 countries in the region.
