Investindustrial seeks counsel

Commencing its campaign to expand its team in the coming months, Southern European investment firm Investindustrial has appointed Marco Pierettori as its internal legal counsel.

He will be based in the company’s Swiss office as part of the investment and monitoring team. In his new role, Pierettori will be responsible for the group’s legal, compliance and internal audit functions.

Prior to Investindustrial, Pierettori spent four years at Lehman Brothers, where he was head of legal compliance and audit divisions for the firm’s Italian operations. Before Lehman, he spent four years in New York and London working for the US law firm Davis, Polk and Wardell, advising corporate clients on US-EU cross-border issues.

Following this appointment the firm has further increased the size of its team with the appointment of a new principal and head of investor relations.

Commencing the third dual role of his career, Carl Nauckhoff will be based in Switzerland. He previously helped raise Investindustrial III in 2005 and later worked with New York-based Garrison Investment Group. At Garrison he was appointed managing director and partner of the firm.

Prior to Garrison, he worked as a director and partner with placement agent MVision Private Equity Advisers.

Pierettori is a member of the New York and the England & Wales bars.
